Commercial Cleaner – Job Description
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation across a range of commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- General cleaning of offices, amenities, and common areas.
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and dusting.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, kitchens, and high-touch surfaces.
- Emptying rubbish bins and replacing bin liners.
- Restocking consumables, including toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap.
- Spot cleaning walls, glass, and other surfaces as required.
- Reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Following cleaning schedules, company procedures, and WHS requirements.
- Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and in accordance with instructions.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within allocated timeframes.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Good communication skills.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport are an advantage.
- Ability to pass a police check if required.
