Ordinary hourly rate: $11.12–$27.81, depending on age and classification, plus applicable weekend, public-holiday, late-night and overtime penalty rates.
Level 1 Ordinary Hourly Rates
- Under 16 years: $11.12 per hour
- 16 years: $13.91 per hour
- 17 years: $16.69 per hour
- 18 years: $19.47 per hour
- 19 years: $22.25 per hour
- 20 years: $25.03 per hour
- 21 years and over: $27.81 per hour
These are ordinary full-time and part-time rates under the Fast Food Industry Award. Higher rates apply for eligible weekend, public-holiday, late-night and overtime hours. Employees performing higher-level duties may be entitled to a higher classification and pay rate.
About the Position
Subway Colac is looking for friendly, hardworking and dependable Sandwich Artists to join our team in full-time or part-time positions.

What You’ll Do
- Welcome and serve customers with a friendly, positive attitude
- Prepare sandwiches, salads and other menu items to Subway standards
- Operate the register and handle customer payments
- Follow food-safety, hygiene and cleanliness procedures
- Restock ingredients, packaging and other supplies
- Complete cleaning and food-preparation duties
- Work efficiently as part of the team during busy periods
- Assist with opening or closing duties when rostered
