COSupports is looking to connect with experienced Support Coordinators who are interested in either working independently as a subcontractor or joining COSupports as a part-time/full-time employee.
COSupports is a registered NDIS provider specialising only in Support Coordination and Specialist Support Coordination, with a strong focus on quality and maintaining a high standard of practice.
COSupports is also a little different from some of the subcontracting models popping up in the sector. The business wasn't purchased simply to provide access to an NDIS registration. COSupports is owned and operated by an active Specialist Support Coordinator with 6 years of Support Coordination experience and 11 years working within the disability sector.
I still actively manage my own caseload and have built COSupports largely through word of mouth and referrals. I understand the realities of the role, the workload involved and how valuable flexibility can be for experienced SCs.
Interested in subcontracting?
The idea is simple:
You build and manage your own caseload. COSupports provides the backend support.
This can include:
- NDIS registration for SC/SSC
- CRM access
- Your own @cosupports.com.au email
- Compliance, policies and templates
- Participant onboarding and service agreements
- Invoicing and admin support
- Leave coverage for participant matters while you're away, within reason
- Ongoing support, mentorship and supervision when needed
A lot of subcontracting arrangements mainly provide access to registration and leave the rest to you. I'm looking to offer something more supported, while still giving SCs the freedom to manage their own clients, diary and workload.
With the future of Support Coordination still uncertain, setting up your own registered provider may not be something everyone wants to take on.
This is aimed at Support Coordinators who want more independence without having to build the entire backend of a provider themselves.
Prefer employment?
I'm also open to experienced Support Coordinators who would prefer the stability of a part-time or full-time employed position with COSupports rather than subcontracting.
This would suit someone who wants to remain an employee while still having flexibility, a supportive environment and the opportunity to work within an organisation focused specifically on SC and SSC.
Minimum 12 months Support Coordination experience required for both options. I'm only looking to hear from experienced SCs who are confident managing their own participants and maintaining a high standard of practice.
If either option sounds like something you'd be interested in, send me a message or email [email protected] and let me know whether you're interested in subcontracting or employment.
