Join a Growing Victorian Renewable Energy Team
RVB Energy is looking for an experienced Solar & Battery Electrician to join our in-house installation team.
Established in 2019, RVB Energy helps Victorian homes and businesses transition to cleaner, more efficient energy. We deliver complete energy upgrade solutions across solar, battery storage, EV charging, air conditioning, heat pumps, plumbing and smart technology.
Our team works across residential and commercial projects, from premium home energy systems to major installations for organisations including Melbourne Showgrounds, Ambulance Victoria and Victorian schools.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an electrician who takes pride in their workmanship and wants to build a long-term career with a growing renewable energy business.
The Role
You will work as part of RVB Energy’s employed installation team, delivering high-quality solar, battery and electrical systems across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Your Responsibilities
- Install residential and commercial solar PV systems.
- Install and commission battery storage systems.
- Install full and partial home backup systems.
- Install changeover switches and backup circuits.
- Complete electrical wiring, switchboard work and system fit-off.
- Commission, test and troubleshoot completed systems.
- Work alongside other electricians, apprentices and installation team members.
- Mentor apprentices and support their ongoing development.
- Complete required installation documentation and compliance processes.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.
What We’re Looking For
- Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence.
- Current SAA accreditation for solar PV and battery storage.
- Previous solar and battery installation experience.
- Current Victorian driver’s licence.
- Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Strong understanding of electrical and renewable energy compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Pride in producing clean, professional installations.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality.
