The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Pharmacist - Senior (Clinical Educators)
to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Implement and maintain training programs in line with state-wide competency-based workplace assessments
Act as a professional preceptor and line manager for intern pharmacists
Contribute to clinical research activities within the work unit
Provide high quality clinical pharmacy services in inpatient and dispensary settings
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Tertiary degree in Pharmacy
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
Permanent full time, permanent part time, temporary full time and temporary part time (several positions, up to 12 months with possibility of extension, hours negotiable)
Base salary ranging from $128 169 - $137 918 per annum or $64.64 - $69.55 per hour

The Pharmacy Service provides medication management services across the Gold Coast HHS, through inpatient units, outpatient clinics and in all facilities where medicines are being utilised for the care of patients. This includes Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Hospital, Tugun Satellite Health Centre, Varsity Lakes Day Hospital, Southport and Robina Health Precincts, Numinbah Correctional Centre, Interim care facilities, as well as various community clinics and dental services.
