Your New Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing business development professional with strong superannuation knowledge and a proven ability to generate new business, build strategic relationships, and deliver commercial outcomes. You will be responsible for proactively identifying, developing, and managing adviser and licensee relationships to drive membership growth, funds under management, and retention outcomes. You will leverage insight-led selling, relationship management, and pipeline development to increase the distribution of Aware Super's products and services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building a strong new business pipeline through networking, lead generation, events, and targeted prospecting activities.
- Work with relevant specialists and Member Growth team members within the Fund to develop and embed efficient and effective attraction, prospecting and on-boarding of new business processes to ensure our value proposition is delivered and all expectations are met.
- Maintaining accurate sales activity, reporting, and pipeline management through CRM systems.
- Manage industry associations sponsorships and other key influencers to create opportunity for growth and brand awareness.
How do you exceed our expectations?
- Demonstrated achievement of key metric and deliverables within a Business Development role.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in engaging with individuals on superannuation both in person and on the
phone.
- Experience working with a range of stakeholders including individuals and SMEs as well as large employers
and/or government departments and other regional or industry influencers.
- Superior knowledge of Superannuation and an understanding of the financial planning process preferred.
- RG146 (Superannuation)
- Current Driver Licence
