We're excited to welcome a Procurement Officer to our Contracts and Procurement Management (CPM) team.

The Procurement Officer is responsible for working with stakeholders to coordinate and manage the planning and delivery of end-to-end procurement activities in Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service including contract administration and support to contract managers.
CPM provides strategic procurement advice and undertakes procurement initiatives for Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service with a focus on the delivery of value for money outcomes that embrace innovation and ensuring efficient and effective use of Sunshine Coast Health resources, contract management and engagement with stakeholders and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities include:
Support management and the principal/senior procurement officers to provide a point of accountability and manage all aspects of clinical and non-clinical procurement, management and reporting within SCHHS.
Protection of SCHHS reputation by ensuring highest standard possible is achieved in procurement activities including probity, accountability and transparency.
Undertake procurement activities in a manner that is compliant with local and system policy and procedure and ensure optimal procurement outcomes by maintaining a high level of communication, consultation and integrity.
Propose innovative procurement solutions that reflect the market, activity risk, value and requirements of the customer.
Remuneration value up to $139,030 p.a., comprising salary between $111,993 - $121,853 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO5). Applications will remain current for 12 months. Please note: only applications from candidates will be accepted (applications that may result in an agency fee will not be considered).
