The Role
Manage large underground technical blasting projects from planning to project delivery, as well as the provision of support, training and quality technical expertise with the aim of optimising efficiencies and bottom-line results for Dyno Nobel and our customers.
Role responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with applicable Dyno Nobel HSEQ Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations
Develop and determine strategies to enhance the value of our offering through the implementation and monitoring of Value-in-Use and Total Cost of Ownership products and applications
Identify opportunities to implement and manage improvement projects at key customer sites
Coordinate the introduction of electronic detonators at customer sites and establish the value presented by the technology
Implement projects from inception and planning, including establishing project schedules and budgets, through to completion, including report writing and publication of results for customers as well as Dyno Nobel
Provide advice and technical inputs in tender preparations and negotiations to Commercial Managers and deliver technical training in area of expertise

Proven technical drill & blast expertise in an underground environment
Extensive explosives product knowledge including new product development
Willingness to travel to sites on a regular basis
