In this role, you'll support important restoration work across the Tablelands, focusing on the collection, propagation and planting of native vegetation to help protect and enhance Queensland's natural environments. Your work will include data entry, site preparation, nursery maintenance, data recording and working closely with volunteer groups to deliver on-ground outcomes.
You'll also contribute to broader ranger duties such as maintaining infrastructure, managing pests and weeds, supporting fire and emergency response activities and assisting with project planning and delivery.
This position offers variety and the opportunity to build practical skills, while working both independently and as part of a small, supportive team. You'll need to be physically capable, adaptable and motivated, with a willingness to work in outdoor environments and changing conditions.
If you enjoy hands-on work, teamwork and making a real difference to the environment, this is a rewarding opportunity to grow your skills while contributing to meaningful conservation outcomes.
