Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
Define automation strategy, standards, coding guidelines, and best practices across projects.
Drive functional, regression, integration, API, and end-to-end automation initiatives.
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Architects to define test strategies and quality gates.
Conduct framework reviews, code reviews, and automation health assessments.
Track automation coverage, execution stability, defect leakage, and quality metrics.
Identify opportunities to optimize testing effort through automation, AI-assisted testing, and process improvements.
8-12+ years in Quality Engineering/Test Automation with 4+ years of hands-on Playwright experience and proven leadership in automation delivery.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript preferred).
Expertise in automation framework development using Page Object Model (POM) and reusable automation components.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or Playwright API testing.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and SDLC/STLC.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Proficiency with Git-based version control systems.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
