ACESGroup is expanding its Event Security team and is looking for professional, customer-focused Security Officers to work across some of Sydney's largest and most exciting events.
With a busy calendar of major concerts, music festivals, sporting events, cultural festivals, community celebrations and iconic public events, including New Year's Eve, we have shifts available throughout the year.

As an Event Security Guard, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of patrons, staff and performers. Duties include:

Crowd management and customer service

Access control and credential checking
-
Bag inspections and security screening
-
Monitoring patron behaviour and responding to incidents

Queue management
-
Emergency response and evacuation assistance
-
Working closely with event organisers, venue management and emergency services.
To be successful, you must have:

Current NSW Class 1A Security Licence (Essential)

Availability to work New Year's Eve (Essential)

Current First Aid Certificate (Essential)

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills
-
Professional presentation and a positive attitude

Physical stamina to remain alert and active for long periods, often outdoors

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Ability to work across various Sydney locations

Work at Sydney's biggest concerts, festivals, sporting and cultural events
