- Afternoon Shift: $38.67 per hour
- Active Night Shift: $39.37 per hour
- Saturday: $49.21 per hour
- Sunday: $63.27 per hour
- Public Holiday: $77.33 per hour
Female Disability Support Worker – Highfields
We are looking for kind, reliable and positive
FEMALE Disability Support Workers to join a warm and welcoming shared home environment in Highfields.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships, working as part of a supportive team, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Due to the personal care needs and preferences of the participants, this role has a genuine requirement for female support workers.
Shifts Available
Various shifts are available, including
active night shifts from 11:00pm to 9:00am.
About the Role
You will be supporting two female participants in a shared home, assisting with daily routines, personal care, community access and helping them work towards their individual goals.
You will be joining an outgoing, supportive and client-focused team who work closely together to provide high-quality, person-centred care.
Participant 1
This participant lives with Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability, Epilepsy and Anxiety, and is non-verbal. She requires full support with daily living and enjoys a calm, caring and consistent approach.
Support may include:
- Manual handling, including hoist and sling transfers
- Personal care, including showering, grooming and dressing
- Toileting and bladder incontinence support
- Postural management
- Medication assistance
- Domestic duties
- Full assistance with daily living tasks
- Support with behaviours of concern, including self-harm
She enjoys music, watching TV, spending time out of her wheelchair, bubble baths and food — especially Milo.
Her goals include continuing to live safely at home with the right supports, maintaining community access, strengthening family relationships and maintaining her current level of functioning.
Participant 2
This participant lives with muscle weakness, Myotonia, reduced motor control, severe fatigue, respiratory weakness and intellectual impairment. She enjoys social connection, gentle encouragement and support to build independence.
Support may include:
- Community access and social engagement
- Personal care, including grooming and dressing
- Domestic support
- Meal preparation and daily routines
- Therapeutic engagement and meaningful activities
She enjoys reading, swimming, girls’ days, movies, animals, Disney, board games and getting involved in the community.
Her goals include improving communication skills, building independence with domestic tasks and attending community groups.

- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
