- Monday to Friday: $35.15 per hour
- Afternoon Shift: $38.67 per hour
- Active Night Shift: $39.37 per hour
- Saturday: $49.21 per hour
- Sunday: $63.27 per hour
- Public Holiday: $77.33 per hour
About the Role NEXTT is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and positive
Female Disability Support Worker to join a welcoming and client-focused team in
Highfields, Toowoomba. This role involves supporting two female participants living in a shared home environment, assisting with daily living activities and helping them achieve their individual goals.
We are looking for someone who is patient, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal care, including showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, and continence support
- Manual handling, including hoist and sling transfers
- Medication assistance
- Postural management and mobility support
- Domestic duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Community access and social engagement
- Supporting daily routines and therapeutic activities
- Encouraging independence and participation in meaningful activities
- Building positive relationships and supporting individual goals
About You
- Female support worker (participant preference)
- Kind, patient, reliable, and positive
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow routines and provide structured support
- Experience with manual handling and hoist transfers is highly regarded
- Confidence supporting participants with complex physical and intellectual disabilities
- Passion for delivering person-centred care
Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Queensland Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Valid Australian Driver Licence
- Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
- Right to work in Australia
