We are looking for a motivated and reliable Labourer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the successful completion of our solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Handling: Assist in the transportation and organisation of materials and equipment on site, ensuring they are readily available for the team.
- Team Support: Provide support to the Team Leader and other team members as needed, including holding or positioning materials during installation.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work site by removing debris, sweeping up, and disposing of waste materials properly.
- Truck Stocking: Ensure that the company truck is stocked with necessary materials and tools at the beginning and end of each workday.
- Equipment Management: Assist in loading and unloading tools and equipment, and ensure they are properly stored and maintained.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- General Labour Tasks: Perform other general labour tasks as required to support the team and project completion
Requirements:
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 kgs) regularly.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, taking direction and offering support where needed.
- Safety Awareness: Understanding of and commitment to safety practices in a construction environment.
- White Card
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or labour-intensive roles is an asset but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
