About the Role
We are currently seeking a Casual Pharmacist to join our friendly and supportive team at our brand-new Good Price Pharmacy Marion location.
This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys providing excellent patient care and would like to be part of a new pharmacy from the ground up.
You will be responsible for maintaining high professional and legislative standards during your shifts while working closely with the Pharmacy Manager and wider pharmacy team.
Availability
Applicants must be available for the following ongoing shifts:
Every Wednesday: 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Every Saturday: 8:30am – 12:30pm
These are ongoing weekly shifts, and applicants must be able to commit to both Wednesday and Saturday shifts.
There is also the possibility of picking up additional ad hoc shifts to cover annual leave, staff availability and other roster requirements, both at Good Price Pharmacy Marion and at other pharmacies in surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Pharmacy Manager and pharmacy team in the smooth day-to-day operation of the pharmacy.

Ensure the accurate and safe dispensing of medications.

Provide professional healthcare advice and counsel patients on the quality use of medicines.

Deliver professional pharmacy services, including vaccinations and other clinical services where accredited.

Support efficient dispensary workflow while maintaining compliance with all legislative and professional standards.

Build positive relationships with customers and local healthcare professionals.

Contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace focused on outstanding patient care.

Help establish and maintain a welcoming pharmacy environment as part of our new team.
About You
Whether you're an experienced pharmacist or a recently registered pharmacist looking to expand your skills, we'd love to hear from you.
You are passionate about patient care, work well as part of a team, and are confident taking responsibility for professional pharmacy operations during your shift while supporting those around you.
Ideally, you will have:

Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent).

Current General Registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Availability to work every Wednesday from 5:00pm–9:00pm and every Saturday from 8:30am–12:30pm on an ongoing basis.

A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care.

A willingness to pick up additional ad hoc shifts where available.
