About the role
You will lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of HESTA's retirement product suite. With significant product development work on the horizon you will keep HESTA competitive in the market while ensuring every decision puts member outcomes first. The pace is real, the work matters, and no two quarters will look the same.
- Own and drive the retirement product roadmap, from backlog management through to launch and ongoing performance monitoring
- Prepare high-quality business cases and quarterly product reporting, presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and the Board
- Lead compliance obligations across the Product Governance Framework, DDO requirements, target market determinations and Retirement PDS content
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to develop and validate new retirement products and features
About you
If you have built your career in retirement product management, insurance or accumulation within superannuation, we would love to hear from you. You are not just here to manage what exists, you are here to innovate, bring fresh thinking and use your technical know-how to build what comes next. Along with;
- Deep knowledge of the superannuation regulatory landscape, including retirement income covenant obligations, DDO, and disclosure requirement
- Commercially minded and data-driven, with experience using financial and member data to build compelling business cases and surface meaningful product insights
- A growth mindset with an innovative approach to product thinking, and the ability to translate complex technical detail into clear recommendations for a range of audiences
- Tertiary qualification in business, finance or a related discipline; RG146 is desirable
