About the Opportunity
This role encompasses the optimal service provision of high quality imaging in general and emergency trauma radiography, intra-operative image intensification, mobile radiography, dental imaging, digital screening, CT, DSA and other services in a PACS environment.
In this role you will:

Maintain optimal standards of patient care, promote and maintain optimal standards of radiography and radiation safety.

Ensure accurate and efficient completion of administrative tasks recorded in the Radiology Information System (RIS).

Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to all patient, staff and workplace matters.

Report archival errors and associated IIMS submissions as well as faults and/or breakdowns in imaging equipment to the Chief Radiographer.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:

Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science (Radiation Science) or Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Radiation Sciences) or qualifications deemed equivalent by CCLHD.

Be able to demonstrate a high level of competency and consistently high standard of clinical practice and decision making.

Proven ability to participate in 24 hour shift and on-call roster, and compliance with the emergency after hours call back requirements of the CCLHD.

Demonstrated proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Be able to demonstrate a good level of computer literacy, including familiarity with RIS/PACS systems.
