Restoration Technician Assistant (Casual) – Working Holiday Makers Welcome
Location: Yeerongpilly QLD 4105
Position: Casual (8 hours per day with lunch break)
Dates: Casual – Ongoing start ASAP
Hourly Rate: Competitive + relevant entitlements, including penalty rates, overtime, allowances, and superannuation
About Us:
Major Industries Restoration specialises in insurance restoration services, managing fire, flood, mould and other damage claims on behalf of insurers. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, professionalism, and supporting our people with strong training and teamwork.
We are currently seeking a Casual Restoration Technician Assistant to support our qualified technicians in the field. This role is ideal for Working Holiday Visa holders looking for hands-on experience and consistent work.
The Role:
You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, assisting with a variety of restoration and cleaning tasks across Brisbane. No prior experience is required - full training is provided. This is a physically active, fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys practical work and learning new skills.
Key Duties Include (but not limited to):
- General labouring tasks
- Training provided – no experience needed
- Cleaning and remediation works
- Working alongside experienced Restoration Technicians
- Occasional lifting and manual tasks as required
- Assist in driving company vehicles between jobs
You must hold a valid driver’s licence and be confident driving company vans.
Hours:
Work hours will be between 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. This is a casual position with ongoing work for the right candidate.

Desirable Skills & Experience:
- IICRC accreditation (Water, Mould, Fire)
- Background or knowledge in building and contents restoration, or cleaning/carpet cleaning
- Experience driving small trucks or manual vehicles
