Disability Support Worker
Location: Loch Sport Hours: Varying shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends
Disability Connect Victoria is seeking Disability Support Workers to support clients in the Loch Sport area.
This role is suited to someone who is reliable, patient and genuinely committed to supporting people with disability to live safely, independently and stay connected with their local community.
About the role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide practical, person-centred support to clients in their home and community.
Your day may include:

Supporting clients with community access
- Assisting clients to attend appointments, activities and social outings
- Providing personal care support
- Supporting daily living tasks
- Assisting with meal preparation
- Supporting clients to maintain their home environment
- Encouraging independence, choice and routine
- Following support plans and workplace procedures
- Completing shift notes and reporting any concerns to the relevant team leader
This role requires good communication skills, reliability and the ability to provide respectful support that promotes dignity and independence.
Requirements

Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or similar, preferred
- Previous experience in disability, aged care or community support, preferred
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Valid Victorian Driver Licence
- Access to a reliable, insured vehicle
