Cabinetmaking Apprenticeship

Join a team of experienced professionals as a Cabinetmaking Apprentice and learn the art of designing, building, and installing high-quality, custom-made furniture and cabinetry.
This hands-on apprenticeship offers the chance to work with a variety of tools and materials to create unique pieces that meet client needs—all while earning your Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology.
What You’ll Learn & Do:
- Construct and install a variety of custom cabinets and joinery in both factory and on-site settings
- Read and interpret drawings, designs, and specifications
- Mark, cut, shape, trim, and glue wood and other materials
- Fit hinges, drawers, and shelves with precision
- Deliver and install completed products to client sites
- Work alongside and be mentored by qualified tradespeople
About You:
- Genuine interest in woodwork (previous experience is highly regarded)
- Well-presented, enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual
- Physically fit and motivated with a positive attitude
- Able to follow instructions and meet deadlines
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work using manual tools
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Must hold a current driver’s licence and have reliable transport
- Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident
