Position Purpose
As the IVF Nurse – Donor and Rainbow Pathways, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional, culturally safe and inclusive fertility care. You will support patients navigating donor and Rainbow pathways, providing continuity, education, and coordination throughout their journey. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will champion inclusive practices, strengthen patient experiences and contribute to service development across the NSW network.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalised, culturally safe nursing care across fertility pathways
- Act as a key point of contact, guiding patients through their journey
- Coordinate donor and Rainbow patient care from pre-treatment to treatment
- Support patients to achieve donor readiness through education and navigation
- Liaise with Client/Donor Team, clinicians, and nursing teams
- Manage donor re-reservations and coordinate imports/exports
- Deliver medication education, phlebotomy, and follicular tracking support
- Perform or work towards competency in follicular scanning
- Facilitate patient education forums and engagement initiatives
- Deliver LGBTIQ+ education and training across nursing teams
- Collaborate to ensure seamless, patient-centred care delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvement and service development initiatives
What We Are Looking For
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
Minimum 6+ months IVF nursing experience
Experience delivering inclusive, culturally safe care to LGBTIQ+ patients
Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
Willingness to obtain and maintain follicular scanning competency
