About the role
Temporary full time opportunity to provide operational and strategic management including the planning, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of the activities of health information services including the clinical information system (CIS) (Metavision) and associated technologies.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Behave in a manner that is consistent with the core values of Queensland Health as outlined above.
Provide leadership and strategic direction to the department on governance matters relating to clinical information systems (Metavision) and clinical information management.
Manage, review and evolve the department's clinical information systems and associated technologies so as to support and improve clinical and business processes, clinical workflow, efficiency and effectiveness of services.
Provide recommendations for policies, guidelines, initiatives and standards related to the department's clinical information system in accordance with corporate and divisional goals.
