The Role:
As a CaFS Group Worker, you will deliver group programs that support children, young people and families. You will work with schools, community partners and the CaFS team to identify needs, run safe and inclusive programs, and connect families with the right supports.
Main Duties

Deliver group programs for children, young people, parents and families.

Work with schools and community partners to plan, promote and run programs.

Support parents and carers with practical information and strategies.

Build strong relationships with schools, services and local networks.

Keep accurate records, attendance, consent forms and program outcomes.

Help children, young people and families access other services when needed.

Take part in supervision, team meetings and program improvement activities.
Selection Criteria
-
Relevant qualification, such as Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, Health or similar.
- At least two years’ experience working with children, young people and/or parents in group settings.

Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Understanding of child safety, mandatory reporting and managing risk.

Ability to work well in a team.

Good communication, computer and record-keeping skills.

A commitment to social justice, plus a valid Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a car for work purposes.
