NDIS Disability Support Worker Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred support to NDIS participants. You will assist individuals to achieve their goals, promote independence, and enhance their quality of life by providing support in their homes and the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support with daily living activities.
- Assist with meal preparation, household tasks, and community access.
- Support participants to build independence and achieve their NDIS goals.
- Maintain accurate progress notes and report incidents or concerns.
- Follow individual support plans, workplace policies, and the NDIS Code of Conduct.
- Promote participant dignity, choice, inclusion, and wellbeing.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Community Services, or a related field (or willingness to obtain).
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
- National Police Check and the right to work in Australia.
