Empowering Women. Transforming the World.
Before it was called Activewear, Lorna Jane imagined it, designed it, and defined it creating a movement that redefined how women move, dress, and live.
Today, we lead with purpose creating elevated Activewear that supports movement, confidence, and modern life. Guided by conscious design and an active spirit, we believe in the power of women to create change that goes far beyond what they wear.
At Lorna Jane, you don’t just join a brand - you help lead what’s next.
The role
Our property team is busier than ever and we're investing in the team to match.
As Lorna Jane continues to evolve its retail footprint across Australia and New Zealand, the demand on our property function has never been greater. More projects. More pace. More opportunity.
As our Project Coordinator (internally known as Project Manager) you will coordinate the end-to-end delivery of our physical store network Including new builds, refurbishments, relocations, and closures, ensuring every project lands on time, on budget, and to brand standard. Your day-to-day spans project briefs, contractor onboarding, shop fit coordination, invoice management, and stakeholder communication across landlords, trades, retail operations, and the Support Centre. You'll conduct site visits, manage defects, and ensure each space is operationally ready before the first customer walks through the door. This role includes scheduled domestic and international travel across Australia and New Zealand when required.
What you bring
- Demonstrated experience delivering retail or commercial fit-out projects
- Confidence managing contractors, trades, and suppliers holding timelines and quality without compromise
- Sharp organisational skills across multiple concurrent projects
- Clear, considered communication with site teams, internal stakeholders, and landlords
- Financial administration including approve invoices, credit card reconciliations, tracking costs and maintaining documentation and compliance
- WHS knowledge and an understanding of building compliance requirements
- A solutions-first mindset. When something shifts on site, you adapt and keep moving.
Who you are
- You're the person on site who already knows the answer before the contractor asks the question. You've read the brief, walked the space, and flagged the risk before it became a problem.
- You have been there, juggling a refurb in Brisbane, a new build in Auckland, and a closure in Melbourne in the same week, it doesn't rattle you.
- You build real relationships with trades, landlords, and retail teams. People call you back because they know you will follow through.
- When you hand over a finished store, you're of proud of the part you have played and the result you have delivered.
