Position Overview
We are looking for a results-driven ICT Sales Representative to identify, develop and convert sales opportunities across a range of technology products and services. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, understanding business needs, and delivering tailored ICT solutions. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, technically aware, and confident in managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through to post-sale support.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities for ICT products, services and solutions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their technology requirements
- Present and demonstrate ICT solutions, including hardware, software and managed services
- Prepare and negotiate pricing, commercial terms and contractual agreements with clients
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation through to closing deals and order processing
- Coordinate delivery, installation and implementation of ICT solutions with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status and client interactions within CRM systems
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts and expense records to management
- Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues and identify upsell opportunities
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet client expectations and technical requirements
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, sales procedures and quality standards
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing or a related field
- Proven experience in ICT sales, account management or business development
- Strong understanding of ICT products and services, including hardware, software and cloud solutions
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
- Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value for clients
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Commercial awareness and customer-focused mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B technology sales within the Australian market
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, cybersecurity solutions or enterprise systems
- Certifications in sales methodologies or vendor technologies (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco)
- Established network of industry contacts or client relationships
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and delivery teams
