About the Role
We are expanding our Patient Services Assistant (PSA) Pool and are seeking qualified, reliable and team-focused PSAs to provide high-quality support to patients, visitors and colleagues.
PSAs play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality patient care. Working across a variety of clinical areas, you will support our healthcare teams through patient transfers, cleaning, equipment handling, mortuary transfers and other essential support services, while maintaining infection prevention and control, patient dignity, privacy and safety.
What makes this opportunity different?
This is permanent part-time employment with guaranteed contracted hours every fortnight.
As a Pool PSA, you will be based at one Monash Health location, you will not be required to work across multiple sites.
While there is no set or fixed roster, you will have guaranteed hours each fortnight and will be rostered across the available morning, afternoon, evening and/or night shifts at your nominated location. This provides the security of permanent part-time employment, where every fortnight is different.
We have opportunities available at:
Victorian Heart Hospital – Clayton – Guaranteed 35 or 40 hours per fortnight
Monash Medical Centre – Clayton – Guaranteed 48 hours per fortnight
Dandenong Hospital – Guaranteed 45.6 hours per fortnight
Bring your PSA experience, we'll provide the site-specific training and support you need to succeed at your chosen Monash Health site!
About You
You will ideally have experience as a Patient Services Assistant in a hospital or aged care setting, with a strong understanding of patient care, infection prevention and control, safety and manual handling practices. You'll be a reliable team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality care.
A Certificate III in Health Services Assistance is an essential requirement for this role.
