Active Aluminium Windows is hiring an experienced Aluminium Cutter to join our growing manufacturing team.
This is a full-time position based in Melbourne’s southeast, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Pay rate: $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

About the Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately cutting aluminium profiles for the manufacture of windows and doors.
Your duties will include:
- Operating aluminium cutting saws and mitre saws
- Measuring and cutting aluminium profiles to specified lengths and angles
- Reading and following production orders, cutting lists and measurements
- Checking cut materials for accuracy, quality and defects
- Labelling, sorting and preparing cut materials for production
- Performing basic machine checks and keeping the work area clean and safe
- Assisting with other factory and production duties when required
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
There will be opportunities to progress to higher classifications and pay rates based on your skills and performance.
About You
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- At least one year of experience operating aluminium cutting saws or mitre saws
- Previous experience in aluminium windows and doors, manufacturing, construction or a similar industry
- Strong measuring skills and attention to detail
- Confidence using hand tools, power tools and factory equipment
- The ability to read and follow cutting lists, measurements and production instructions
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
- Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling duties
- Basic written and verbal communication skills
- Full Australian working rights
- A current driver licence is preferred
Experience cutting aluminium profiles for windows and doors will be highly regarded.
