PAID Entry-Level Construction Traineeship – Woodford

Challenge Employment & Training is offering a paid, full-time Construction Traineeship at Woodfordia, giving you the opportunity to earn while you learn, gain real on-site experience, complete a nationally recognised qualification, and graduate with the industry tickets employers are looking for.

- Paid full-time traineeship (38 hours per week for up to 18 weeks)
- CPC10126 Certificate I in Construction
- White Card (CPCWHS1001) + First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)

✔ What you’ll be doing
You’ll gain experience across a variety of projects, including:
- General carpentry and construction tasks
- Landscaping and outdoor maintenance
- Painting and tiling
- Material removal and site clean-up
- General repairs and maintenance
- Basic hands-on construction work
No previous experience required — just a willingness to learn!

A driver’s licence and reliable vehicle will be highly regarded, as travel between work sites may be required and public transport is limited in some areas.
✔ Eligibility requirements
Applicants must:
- Live in Queensland
- Have valid Australian work rights
- Not currently be in full-time/stable employment
- Not be studying full-time at school, TAFE, or university
- Not have previously completed a Certificate I in Construction
- Meet other eligibility requirements under the Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative
