Maple 3 Café is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Casual Cook to join our kitchen team.
This is a great opportunity for a cook who enjoys working in a busy café environment and takes pride in preparing fresh, quality food.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking café meals
- Assisting with daily food preparation
- Following recipes and maintaining consistent food quality
- Maintaining high standards of presentation
- Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Assisting the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Stock rotation and minimising food wastage
- Supporting the Head Chef and kitchen team as required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous café or commercial kitchen experience
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Can work efficiently during busy periods
- Has good communication and teamwork skills
- Takes pride in food quality and cleanliness
- Can work independently when required
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
Experience in a café environment is preferred, but we are happy to consider the right candidate with a strong work ethic.
