About the Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating engineering projects while ensuring outcomes are delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, coordinating and delivering capital and operational projects across site.
- Managing project scopes, schedules, budgets and resources.
- Coordinating contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
- Monitoring project progress and reporting on performance against key milestones.
- Identifying and managing project risks, opportunities and change requirements.
- Ensuring projects comply with site standards, statutory requirements and engineering best practices.
- Preparing technical documentation, reports and project deliverables.
- Supporting procurement activities, contract administration and contractor management.
- Driving continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with site safety requirements.
About You
You are a proactive and solutions-focused engineering professional who enjoys working in a dynamic operational environment and building strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
To be successful, you will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Mining or related discipline).
- Previous experience delivering engineering projects within mining, resources, heavy industry or infrastructure environments.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and achieve project objectives.
- Excellent communication, reporting and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound understanding of risk management and engineering standards.
- Proficiency with project planning and project management tools.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
