The Senior Information Coordinator is responsible for leading the development, coordination, governance, and continuous improvement of organisational information systems, records management, knowledge resources, and reporting processes. The role ensures that business information is accurate, secure, accessible, and supports informed decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain information management policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Coordinate the collection, validation, analysis, and distribution of organisational information and operational data.
- Design and improve document management and electronic records systems to ensure compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
- Manage information quality, integrity, confidentiality, and security across business operations.
- Prepare analytical reports, dashboards, and performance summaries for senior management.
- Identify opportunities to improve information workflows, reporting processes, and knowledge-sharing practices.
- Coordinate information requests from internal departments, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor compliance with records management standards, privacy legislation, and organisational policies.
- Develop and maintain information classification systems, metadata standards, and document control procedures.
- Provide specialist advice to management on information governance, business process improvement, and knowledge management.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects involving information systems, digital records, and process optimisation.
- Train and mentor staff on information management procedures, document control, and best practices.
- Liaise with IT teams and software vendors regarding information management systems and system enhancements.
- Conduct regular audits of information assets and recommend corrective actions where required.
- Support organisational planning through research, data analysis, and evidence-based reporting.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Records Management, or a related discipline.
- Relevant industry experience in information coordination, records management, business analysis, or knowledge management.
- Demonstrated experience with electronic document management systems (EDMS), Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or similar platforms.

Pay: $81,626.48 – $100,000.00 per year
