THE POSITION:
The Infrastructure Services Division is looking for a highly motivated professional tradesperson to join our team as an Electrician.The Electrician position within the Infrastructure Services Division is required to carry out preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance on domestic, commercial, industrial and electronic assets, to maintain Council’s electrical equipment andinfrastructure to required standard.
The Electrician will design and implement new and existing electrical infrastructure as required to the relevant Australian standards and regulations. The position will provide Councilwith specialised in-house wide-ranging expertise in the electrical field.
We are seeking someone who is highly skilled, organised, efficient and able to prioritise work and meet tight deadlines. To be successful in this role you will require relevant industry experience and a desire to complete tasks thoroughly and safely.
ESSENTIAL:
- Electrical Trade certificate
- Electrical Contractors Licence
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Construction Induction Card (Whitecard)
- Current Class C Driver’s License
DESIRABLE:
- Elevated work platform licence
- Traffic Control
- MR Licence
- Registered Cabling Licence
- Ability to prepare plans for major construction work and amend for WAE drawings
- Confined Space Certificate
- Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation
- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
SALARY & EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:
- Permanent position,76 hours per fortnight
- This position is a Grade E, salary range is $73,836 p.a. with progression to $79,509 p.a. on demonstrated competencies, with performance progression to $86,484 p.a, plus 11.5% Super
