We're seeking an experienced male Support Worker (ABN Contractor) to provide ongoing community access support to an independent gentleman with paraplegia in Upper Coomera, Gold Coast.
This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement their existing roster with a consistent weekly shift while building a genuine long-term relationship with one participant.
About the Participant
You'll be supporting an independent gentleman who enjoys:
- Fishing
- Going for walks and exploring different areas of the local community
- Going to the gym and maintaining an active lifestyle
- Getting out and enjoying community activities and attending appointments
We're looking for someone who is mature, reliable, active, and able to build genuine rapport. Experience supporting participants with paraplegia or similar physical disabilities is essential.
A support worker who enjoys working with multicultural backgrounds.
Shift Details
- Upper Coomera, Gold Coast
- Every Saturday
- 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Ongoing weekly shift (3 hours)
- Competitive weekend contractor rates
Additional hours may become available for the right support worker as Brothers in Care continues to grow.

Essential Requirements
- Current ABN
- Minimum 12 months' disability support experience
- Experience supporting participants with paraplegia or similar physical disabilities
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
