The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated ICT Business Analyst to be the critical bridge between our business stakeholders and our technology delivery teams, gathering requirements from sales consultants, property managers, marketing teams and leadership — and translating those needs into clear, structured Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and workflow blueprints that our internal IT team and vendors can build from.
You will take ownership of our digital transformation agenda across key areas including:
Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesRequirements Gathering & Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Engage with stakeholders across sales, property management, marketing, and leadership teams to elicit, document, and validate business, technical, and functional requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and structured interviews to capture current-state processes and define future-state needs across digital marketing, CRM, lead management, and platform systems.
- Produce detailed, professionally structured BRDs and present findings and proposed solutions clearly to the internal IT team, senior management, and external vendors for sign-off and delivery.
- Manage requirements traceability throughout project lifecycles, ensuring delivery outcomes align with agreed business needs.
Data Analysis & Business Insights
- Analyse and interpret operational data, system reports, and performance metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities within ICT systems and business workflows.
- Prepare analytical reports and dashboards to support management decision-making, performance monitoring, and growth planning across Reliance offices.
- Assess digital marketing data, CRM pipeline metrics, lead conversion rates, and platform performance to recommend data-driven system improvements.
Business Process Mapping & Modelling
- Map, document, and model existing business processes using recognised techniques including Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and process flow diagrams.
- Identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies across lead management, property listings, CRM workflows, social media operations, and internal administration systems.
- Design optimised future-state process flows that support business scalability and operational consistency across the Reliance network.
Risk Evaluation & ICT Governance
- Evaluate risks associated with proposed ICT initiatives, system integrations, and process changes, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Assess technology vendors, platforms, and tools to ensure fit with business requirements, compliance obligations, data security standards, and long-term scalability needs.
- Support governance activities including system audits, change management documentation, and technology roadmap planning.
Functional & Technical Specifications
- Create comprehensive functional and technical specifications, use case documentation, workflow diagrams, and data mapping artefacts to communicate requirements to the IT team and external development partners.
- Develop and maintain system specifications for CRM configurations, API integrations, automation workflows, digital marketing platforms, and property listing systems.
- Coordinate ICT projects through requirements, design, testing, and deployment phases — managing timelines, stakeholder feedback, and progress reporting.
Training Programs & User Enablement
- Develop and implement training programs, user guides, and operational procedures to support the effective adoption of new and enhanced ICT systems across Reliance offices.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to staff on internal platforms including CRM systems, property management software, digital marketing tools, and reporting dashboards.
- Act as the key communication point between operational teams, management, and technical service providers during system rollouts and business transformation projects.
Skills and ExperienceQualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Business Analysis, or a related discipline.
- Formal Business Analysis certification (e.g. CBAP, PMI-PBA, or IIBA membership) will be highly regarded.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as an ICT Business Analyst or in a comparable business systems and process improvement role.
- Demonstrated experience producing BRDs, functional specifications, use cases, and process models for technology projects — from requirements through to delivery.
- Experience within the real estate, property, or service industry will be highly regarded.
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, property management systems, digital marketing tools, workflow automation, and system integrations.
- Exposure to digital marketing channels — including lead generation systems, social media management platforms, QR code solutions, and property listing portals (e.g. REA Group, Domain) — is advantageous.
