Poets Café is a beloved spot nestled in the heart of Montville, known for good food, warm vibes, and a community feel. We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic kitchen hand to join our small team and help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
What you'll be doing:
- Prepping ingredients and supporting kitchen operations
- Washing dishes, pots, and equipment to a high standard
- Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and well-stocked
- Assisting cooks with plating and service as needed
- Following food safety and hygiene requirements
What we're looking for:
- A positive, team-first attitude
- Ability to work at pace without cutting corners on cleanliness
- Availability across weekends and some weekday shifts
- Previous kitchen experience
- Must have (or be able to obtain) a Food Handler certificate

Pay: $24.95 – $42.75 per hour
