The Family Recovery Worker delivers mental health prevention, parenting support, and family-focused recovery interventions across the Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD).
This role is focused on improving family wellbeing, strengthening parenting capacity, and ensuring children and families receive timely, appropriate, and recovery-oriented support.

About You
You will bring a strong commitment to high-quality community care and a passion for helping people maintain their health, independence, and dignity. You will have:
- Qualifications in mental health-related discipline: AHPRA Registered Nurse, Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist with three years post registration experience in mental health, Social Worker eligible for membership of AASW or Bachelor Degree Counselling or Community Welfare with three years post graduate experience in mental health.
- Demonstrated experience working with children and families or carers, and familiarity with contemporary mental health service delivery models, including crisis intervention and family intervention.
- Demonstrated experience in psychological interventions in community mental health including knowledge of psychopharmacological treatments, side effects and family interventions.
- Experience, knowledge and skills working in collaborative partnerships with GPs, government and non-government organisations and other agencies.
Current valid Australian drivers licence
