Performance and Improvement Officer

The role is responsible for supporting the delivery of key service improvement initiatives

Provide administrative support for improvement initiatives and projects.

Fixed Term contract from 12 months| Sydney CBD location

Hybrid working environment, offering starting salary of $ 99,938 + super

About the Role

This role plays an important role in facilitating the delivery of improvement initiatives within the Health Screening function in Dust Diseases Care (DDC).

Duties

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as the Performance and Improvement Officer you will:

Assist in the preparation and distribution of regular performance reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly).

Maintain performance dashboards and data tracking systems.

Collate, validate, and format service activity and KPI data from multiple sources.

Support analysis by preparing summaries, graphs, and presentations.

Monitor reporting timelines and ensure deadlines are met.

Maintain project registers, action logs, and risk registers.

Track progress against improvement plans and follow up on outstanding actions.

Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, and documentation.

Support implementation of process improvement activities.

Skills & Experience

Understanding of healthcare, screening programs, or insurance care operations (through study, work experience, or entry-level roles).

Experience at using reporting systems to generate, collate and analyse data, and produce summary reports.

Interest in continuous improvement, process redesign, or service optimisation.

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Strong administrative or coordination experience, preferably in healthcare or complex organisations.

Confidence using common office systems and document management tools.
