About the role:
This position connects and develops a pipeline of on-going partnerships with employers and other stakeholders to encourage them to list their employment opportunities with AMES Australia. Employment opportunities would need to be suited to either/or IEA and WA clients to maximise a sustainable employment outcome. This position could also develop connections with external agencies/providers such as NDIS, medical providers, support agencies and specialist equipment providers.
To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
- Minimum Diploma in Commerce, Arts, Business or Social Sciences; AND/OR Minimum 3 years’ business development, sales & marketing experience
- A working knowledge and understanding of employment support services, specifically in the disability sector, with refugee and asylum seeker cohorts, and/or First Nations clients, and a comprehensive understanding of the changes IEA and WA clients face
- Demonstrated knowledge of labour market trends
- Demonstrated record of success in placement of job seekers into employment or experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive job seeker assessment, identifying barriers to employment and preparing individual career or job plans
- Proven ability to motivate clients, and advocate and negotiate on their behalf
- Proven experience successfully working in and leading a small cohesive team to achieve team targets/results
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build and maintain rapport with stakeholders across different areas of responsibility
- Demonstrated personal integrity and respect for confidential information
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, self-organised and methodical, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- High level of initiative and ability to work independently
- Flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
- NDIS Comprehension and familiarity
- Broad understanding in supporting Clients with specific barriers towards employment outcome
- Understanding of utilities/equipment to support Clients in employment setting
- Elevated influencing and direct/reverse marketing skills to broaden employment opportunities for IEA Clients
