We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented After-Hours Cleaner to support our respite centre across multiple buildings and administrative areas. This role is essential in ensuring all facilities are clean, safe, and ready for use each day.
You will be working independently after hours, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across care, office, and shared spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitising multiple buildings within the service
- Cleaning office and administrative areas (desks, meeting rooms, shared spaces)
- Thorough cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens, and staff facilities
- Vacuuming, mopping, and floor care across all areas
- Disinfecting high-touch surfaces (doors, rails, switches, etc.)
- Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
- Restocking hygiene and cleaning supplies
- Ensuring all areas are secured and left safe after cleaning
- Reporting maintenance or safety issues to management
About You
- Previous cleaning experience (healthcare, aged care, or commercial cleaning preferred)
- Comfortable working independently after hours
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
- Able to manage cleaning across multiple buildings efficiently
- Physically capable of completing cleaning duties
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Blue Card / NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain if required)
Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
