The Role
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons, staff, and venue operators. You will represent our company professionally while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring compliance with venue policies and NSW security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring venue entrances and exits
- Checking patron identification and managing access control
- Conducting crowd control and conflict de-escalation
- Maintaining a strong security presence throughout the venue
- Responding to incidents and emergencies professionally
- Completing incident reports and required documentation
- Working closely with venue management and staff
- Ensuring compliance with NSW liquor licensing and security regulations
What We're Looking For
- Current NSW Security Licence (1A or relevant class)
- Current RSA Competency Card
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional presentation and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Previous experience in hospitality, pubs, clubs, hotels, or events is highly regarded
