ROLE PURPOSE
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team in Geraldton, WA.
In this role, you will assist customers, maintain store presentation, and support daily retail operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who is seeking permanent full-time work.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting and engaging with customers.
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash/card transactions.
Maintain store cleanliness and ensure stock is well-presented and replenished.
Assist in receiving, unpacking, and displaying merchandise.
Processing phone, and email orders, and calling customers.
Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
Previous retail, hospitality, or customer service experience.
Excellent customer service skills – friendly, approachable, and helpful
Strong communication skills – the ability to engage with customers and team members
A proactive attitude – ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and handle multiple tasks.
Attention to detail – ensuring products are received, displayed and stocked correctly
Numeracy skills – handling cash and transactions with accuracy
Team player mindset – willingness to support colleagues and work together
Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including buidling flat pack furniture
