About the Role
Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Analyst plays a key role in financial performance, planning, and business partnering across the organisation.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll support decision-making through insightful reporting, forecasting, and commercial analysis, working closely with teams across sales, marketing, and operations.
You’ll also help drive process improvements and product profitability, contributing directly to BentSpoke’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the month-end close process, including journals, timelines, and flash reporting
Deliver financial reporting, forecasting, and budget analysis
Partner with sales, marketing, and operations to provide commercial insights
Prepare and consolidate annual budgets for executive review
Manage weekly payments in line with cashflow forecasts
Analyse and oversee key financial areas including: promotions, discounts and rebates; revenue recognition and product margins; and bad debts and allowances
Support new product development (NPD) tracking and performance analysis
Develop financial models and provide ad hoc analysis to support decision-making
Identify and implement process improvements across finance and the broader business
About You
You are a commercially minded analyst who enjoys working across the business, not just in finance.
You’ll bring:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
CA/CPA/CIMA qualified or in progress
1–3 years’ experience in financial analysis or management accounting
Experience in FMCG, retail, or consumer-led environments (highly regarded)
Strong Excel skills (Power Query / Power Pivot an advantage)
Experience with ERP systems (SAP B1) and/or Power BI
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
