What you'll do?
- Provide technical leadership across complex technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities, enterprise architecture, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate delivery across internal teams and external vendors to ensure effective collaboration, service integration, and accountability in a multi-partner environment.
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of technical solutions, ensuring outcomes are cohesive, interoperable, and aligned to the target-state operating model.
- Review and challenge solution designs and technical delivery decisions to ensure compliance with governance, standards, security, supportability, and operational expectations.
- Proactively identify, manage, and resolve delivery risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies across vendors, workstreams, and environments.
- Lead delivery governance activities, including status reporting, decision forums, and escalation management, to maintain transparency and delivery control.
- Ensure solutions are operationally ready for transition into support, including service ownership, support models, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to confirm priorities, resolve delivery constraints, and support sustainable business outcomes.
- Plan and coordinate release sequencing, environment readiness, and delivery dependencies to support controlled implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement across delivery practices, vendor performance, and post-implementation service outcomes.
What you'll bring?
- Demonstrated experience in technical delivery, technology project/program delivery, or service integration within a complex enterprise environment.
- Experience working in multi-vendor or managed services environments, including vendor coordination, accountability management, and integrated delivery across multiple partners
- Strong understanding of enterprise technology environments, including applications, infrastructure, platforms, integrations, and operational support models.
- Solid knowledge of delivery governance, architecture alignment, SDLC controls, change/release management, and operational readiness requirements.
- Working knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches, with the ability to apply appropriate controls based on delivery context.
- Familiarity with IT service management practices, including ITIL principles, service transition, supportability, and incident/problem considerations.
- Strong capability in managing risks, dependencies, competing priorities, and delivery trade-offs across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Well-developed communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into business decisions and outcomes.
- Proven ability to influence outcomes without formal authority and to coordinate matrix teams of SMEs, project resources, and external partners.
- Analytical, organised, and outcome-focused, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional certifications such as ITIL, PRINCE2, PMP, Scrum/Agile, or cloud/platform certifications are desirable.
