A General Practitioner (GP) provides comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages. The role focuses on diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and ongoing management of a wide range of medical conditions, while promoting overall health and wellbeing within the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centred medical care
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments
- Develop and implement management plans for patients
- Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (pathology, imaging)
- Provide preventative care, including immunisations and screenings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Refer patients to specialists and allied health professionals when required
- Participate in after-hours or on-call rosters (if applicable)
- Promote health education and disease prevention strategies
- Comply with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards

Pay: $200.00 – $250.00 per hour
