About the role
The Player and Coach Development Manager - NT leads the delivery and alignment of Tennis Australia’s Player Development and Coach Development priorities across the Northern Territory. The role is responsible for growing the volume, depth and quality of both talented athletes and coaches in the NT, while ensuring local environments are connected to national frameworks, expectations and pathway opportunities.
The role operates in a matrix environment across Tennis NT and Tennis Australia and requires strong relationship-building, communication, planning and delivery capability. The role will involve some travel with athletes, including trips where the role carries duty-of-care responsibilities for young people, as well as occasional Coach Development delivery outside the NT.
Develop and manage annual training and session plans for NT Talent programs, aligned to Tennis Australia’s Player Development pathway, Performance Philosophy, Player Development Matrix and national program frameworks.
Proactively identify, support and advocate for NT coaches through development opportunities, recognition, mentoring and national connection
Lead the planning and delivery of NT Talent programs, including Talent Hubs, Super 10s, NDP Connect, NDP Support, National Development Squads, State Talent Camps and Club Talent ID initiatives.
