About the role
Permanent part-time opportunity to deliver advanced clinical care within the MHCALL service, providing telephone and virtual triage, crisis support, and short-term interventions for consumers with complex mental health needs. You will lead clinical decision-making, support and supervise staff, and contribute to service development and continuous improvement within a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed framework.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
As a member of the multidisciplinary team, deliver high-level discipline-specific clinical skills in telephone/virtual care triage, crisis support, and risk assessment for consumers and families contacting MNMH, providing short-term interventions and facilitating linkages with ongoing services as required.
Provide clinical advice and professional advocacy for consumers with complex mental health needs, supporting multidisciplinary team members, operational and professional leaders, and external clinicians in assessment, treatment planning, and management.
Provide clinical leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of practices, procedures, and service improvement or research activities that enhance allied health and multidisciplinary service delivery and support the continuum of care within an innovative mental health service.
