About the role
Lead the assessment, design, delivery and evaluation of education programs that enhance the clinical knowledge, skills and competence of nursing and multidisciplinary staff.
You will report to the Nurse Manager for Nursing Education and work collaboratively with Nurse Managers, Nursing Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Clinical Nurse Educators, and nurses across all levels of the organisation.
You will play a key part in identifying learning needs for all nursing staff and contributing to the design and delivery of initiatives that support workforce capability, professional development, and high-quality patient care.
Manage designated education portfolios and projects, ensuring training programs remain current, relevant and aligned with organisational priorities.
Foster an inclusive learning culture by providing equitable access to education, mentorship and professional development opportunities for all staff.
About you
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency
Relevant post-graduate education qualifications or relevant post- graduate clinical qualifications with a Cert IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards)
Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate education programs
Demonstrated knowledge of innovative educational strategies, tools and approaches including e-learning
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in your daily practice as a Nurse Educator
