We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Barista to join our café team at Joseph Hates Coffee!
We’re looking for someone who loves great coffee, enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a friendly, fast-paced café environment.
About the role
This is a casual position of approximately 15 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours when required.
You’ll be working as part of our café team, preparing quality coffee, providing great customer service and helping keep the café running smoothly.
Your responsibilities
- Preparing high-quality coffee and other beverages
- Providing friendly and attentive customer service
- Taking orders and operating the POS system
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming café
- Restocking and assisting with general café duties
- Working efficiently during busy periods
- Following café standards and contributing to a positive team environment
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is friendly, reliable and has a positive attitude
- Works well as part of a team but can also work independently
- Has excellent customer service and communication skills
- Lives close to the café and can reliably get to work
- Has their own reliable transport
- Is comfortable with early morning starts and being at the café before 6:00am
- Is flexible and reliable with their availability
- Has a genuine passion for coffee and hospitality
