What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
About You
You present yourself as someone who brings current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and applies that professional grounding confidently in a community setting. You show that you can draw on clinical nursing skills and relevant knowledge to support people where they live, adapting your approach to meet diverse and often complex needs. You demonstrate clinical problem solving by assessing situations quickly, identifying risks, and making decisions that maximise patient care and safety.
Your communication style reflects clarity, compassion and competence, using information technology, written documentation and interpersonal communication to ensure patients, families and colleagues remain informed and supported. You work comfortably within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and contributing to outcome‑based planning that keeps the patient at the centre. You understand how to manage clients with complex needs in the community, balancing autonomy, safety and continuity of care.
You navigate your role with reliability and readiness, supported by a valid NSW driver’s licence, enabling you to reach clients wherever they are and provide consistent, responsive care.
